NOTICE TO MARINERS
Notice N°19/2026 – Subject : “Semaine du Nautisme”; “Sailing week festival” organization. Recreationnal users of the harbor are informed that,
The event “La semaine du nautisme”,will take place between wednesday 17th of june and monday 22nd of june 2026.
The period between the event’s setting up, holding and closing will run from monday 15th of june to tuesday 23rd of june 2026.
– Pontoons H4 and H5 will be exclusively reserved for vessels participating to the event. Therefore, berthing of other vessels will be prohibited between Monday 15th of june and Tuesday 23rd of june 2026 (included) .
– Nautical shows will be organized. Therefore, nautical traffic may punctualy be interrupted to let vessels of the event free waters for navigation
– 2 airlifting demonstrations will take place: Saturday, 20th of June from 15:00 and Sunday 21th of june 2026 from 15:00. Airliftings will be organized in the fore Harbour of the “Vieux-Port” that will therefore be closed to any navigation from the Towers of the “Vieux-Port” to the “Epi de dragage” in the chanal.
– According to the City ordinance delivered by La Rochelle city hall: Neither traffic nor parking of any vehicle but those being part of the event’s organization is permitted on the “Cours des Dames” from Monday 15th of june at 06:00 to Tuesday 23rd of june 2026 at 12:00.
Mariner’s attention shall focus on navigating with caution in the vicinity of the event’s vessels, and shall not hamper navigation of the event’s safety fleet
