Notice N°28/2026 – Subject: Monitoring of Marine Species
Recreationnal users of the harbor are informed that :
As part of the program to monitor non-native species (DCSMM ENI), the university and the OFB will be collecting samples of benthic macrofauna and gelatinous plankton in La Rochelle Marina.
The survey will be conducted from the vessel Estran (La Rochelle University) using a dredge (benthic sampling dredge) and pelagic plankton net hauls. The sampling plan is attached; the operation is scheduled for September 18, 2026.
Boaters are advised to strictly and immediately follow the instructions issued by the port authority, particularly via VHF on channel 09.
