NOTICE TO MARINERS
Notice N°32/2026 – Subject : “Grand pavois 2026” – Swim to the “bout du monde lightower.
Recreationnal users of the harbor are informed that the “Grand Pavois” organizes a special event called “Swim with the lifeguards”
Saturday, 26th of september, from 14:00 to 16:00
Several groups of about 20 persons will swim this crossing.
They will be assisted and surveyed by a dinghy from the “SNSM”
During the event :
– Priority shall be given to event’s organization and safety fleet
– Mariners shall stay away from the event’s dedicated area and shall not cut swimer’s route
– Mariners are invited to slow down in the vicinity of the event and keep watch if approaching from the concerned area
– Orders given by organization and safety fleet shall be strictly respected.
Mariners should take any necessary measure to garantee event’s members safety and its smooth handling
