NOTICE TO MARINERS
Notice N°35/2025 – Subject : Marathon of La Rochelle
Recreationnal users of the harbor are informed that:
La Rochelle Marathon’s association organizes the 34th edition of the event: «Marathon of La Rochelle Serge Vigot »
A training run called “Chauffe gambette” (“Legs warm up”) will be organized the day before the Marathon itself, Saturday 29th of november between 09:30 and 10:30. The access to the technical area of the Vieux Port, “Plateau nautique” will only be complicated between 09:30 and 10:00.
The marathon will take place sunday, 30th of november from 08:50. For this event, part of the track runned wil be on the Port’s area. The track is identified by a blue line drawn on the ground. We thank you for letting it totally free for the smooth running of the event
Land accesses to the Vieux Port as well as to Les Minimes will be severly disrupted during the day of sunday, 30th of november.
Car traffic and parking on “Esplanade Tabarly” will be totally prohibited from Friday, 28th of november, 07:00; untill Monday, 1st of december at 13:00.
Car parkings of the “Cours des Dames” will remain closed sunday, 30th of november between 06:00 and 15:00
Crowd control barriers will be set along the track on the “Plateau nautique”, “Esplanade tabarly”, and quay “Sennac de Meilhan”
