Approach by day

Bûcheron buoy. By Fier d’Ars with light marks on 265° passing south of Black Buoy indicating the Banc du Bûcheron. Then front and back light marks on 232° leading to the marina of Ars-en-Ré. The channel is buoyed (no light).

Approach by night

Leading on 265°, Front lights(iso.W.4s), back lights (dir.iso.G.4s) – Leading to marina.on 232°: Front and back lights (Q.W.) Strong current on spring tides.
